Arkansas
A big honor for Arkansas was bestowed in October as we were named the most pro-life state in America for the sixth year in a row by Americans United for Life.
Family Council President Jerry Cox released a statement, saying, “Today Americans United for Life recognized the many pro-life laws and policies our state has enacted over the years. Arkansans should be proud of their state legislators for passing the best laws in the nation when it comes to protecting unborn children, the elderly, the disabled, and the terminally ill. That’s something to celebrate.”
Recently, state leaders Matt Trimble and Charlie Jenkins met up at Maddie's Place in Little Rock, AR for lunch. It was a great time of fellowship that included good food and conversation.

California
This month, the State Committee voted to endorse 4 of 14 proposition appearing on the California ballot this November: YES on 4 and 37, and NO on 43 and 44. Three of the endorsements deal directly with subsidiarity, as they concentrate more and more power in Sacramento.
We had an in-person meetup in Southern California: a BBQ at the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in South El Monte, CA.
Additionally, we scored a minor court victory! In California, candidates are listed on the ballot as “Party Preference: None” unless they’re affiliated with one of six recognized political parties: Democratic, Republican, American Independent, Green, Libertarian, and Peace and Freedom. But Senior U.S. District Judge Maxine M. Chesney said that listing “Party Preference: None” next to a candidate’s name when they do have a clear party preference could mislead voters. This means there will eventually be a trial over this claim. Here is the story: https://courthousenews.com/judge-advances-claims-over-party-labels-on-california-ballots/
Our state committee meetings are every month, the second Saturday, at 9 a.m. Email contact@ca.solidarity-party.org for more information.
