A statement on the November 3, 2026, General Election

The revolving door of Democrats and Republicans continues to spin.  The pundits speak of landslides and change, but the American people remain buried under an oligarchy with blue and red shades.  This election will not result in good governance or the change the country needs, and we have not lost sight of the long road ahead.

Nonetheless, we celebrate and thank the members of our party who served as candidates in the 2026 election cycle.  Building a political party involves building experience, relationships, and awareness, and our candidates play a vital role in creating a true political alternative.  Running for office often requires personal sacrifice for the common good, and we greatly appreciate the contributions of our candidates, volunteers, and other supporters.

The 2028 election cycle begins today.  If you want to see us succeed, become a party member and find a way to help.

In Solidarity,

Jack Ternan

Chair, National Committee

American Solidarity Party

We are a party that seeks the common good, on common ground, through common sense. We believe in the sanctity of human life, the necessity of social justice, our responsibility to care for the environment, and promotion of a more peaceful world. We cherish the individual rights and separation of government powers protected by the U.S. Constitution, and recognize the need for social supports and community cohesion. We seek to bridge the bitter partisan divide with principled and respectful policies and dialog.
