Bonnie Kallis recently retired from her career as a classroom teacher. In her role as an educator, she has served in many leadership roles which contribute to her understanding of public education. During her career in Michigan, she served as a classroom teacher, English Language Arts department head, School District Testing Coordinator, School Improvement Chair, and Title I Chair. 

Bonnie’s campaign will emphasize the overuse of technology in schools, balancing the need for testing with hands-on, experiential learning, and protecting school funding.
